Whether you have a personal portfolio, your own stage combat company, or hosting an event, a strong website presence is a must-have to capture visitor engagement. We’ll discuss the common do’s and don’ts many websites make, how to use SEO and CTAs effectively, and what the heck UI/UX/IA and those other acronyms even mean.
Class Level: Open
Tuesday, May 13, 2025 @ 7pm to 9:00pm
on ZOOM!
This class will be available to those registered for 7 days after the class is held.
Jen (she/they) is a metro-Detroit-based fight and intimacy director, teaching artist, martial artist, and occasional creative. Their work has recently been seen at the Detroit Public Theatre, Obsidian Theatre Festival, University of Michigan SMTD, Oakland University, Croswell Opera House, Shakespeare Royal Oak, and Livonia Shakespeare in the Park. They are a Certified Teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors, and a co-founder and lead instructor at Theatrica Gladiatoria (www.fightglad.com), a year-round academy in SE Michigan for stage and film combat. Jen is also the co-coordinator of the Mitten Mayhem Stage Combat Workshop (www.mittenmayhem.com) held annually in October.
