Brian Guidry LeTraunik is a professional director, actor, fight director and educator. A SAFD Certified Teacher of stage combat, he is based in Hartsville, SC where is Assistant Professor of Theatre at Coker University. He has directed, taught and staged fights across the country, most recently at Weathervane Playhouse in Newark, OH, where he directed and fight directed a production of "Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood". He is also a stage combat historian and author of the book "A History of Contemporary Stage Combat, 1969-Today". The only work of its kind, the book chronicles the history of the art of stage combat from the founding of the Society of British Fight Directors to today. It is available on Amazon and through the publisher, Routledge.
